🇮🇹 A Lazy Day Trip from Milan to Genoa ❤️🌊
(Train stopped again... perfect time to write this travel note!) 📍 Camogli Beach 🚂 Easy train ride from Genoa – arrived around 2-3 PM ▪️ Hidden gem with turquoise water and pebble shores (ouch, but worth it!) ▪️ Spent the afternoon watching kids play, dipping in the sea, and soaking up the sun ☀️ ▪️ Dinner at a cliffside restaurant (stairs right from the beach!) – most relaxing moment of the trip 🍷 ▪️ Views rival Nice, France – definitely coming back! 💡 Fun Fact: Camogli means "House of Wives" – named after the women who ruled the town while their husbands were at sea. 🍦 Gelato & Food Adventures 📍 Cremeria Buonafede ▪️ Gelato + espresso combo = perfection! ▪️ Still dreaming of last year’s unmarked gelato spot (why didn’t I save the name? 😭) 📍 Zimino ▪️ Creamy Ligurian lasagna – so rich we needed an iced Americano after! 📍 Da Mario ▪️ €13 lobster pasta (budget-friendly!) ▪️ Packed with local workers & grandmas – authentic vibe! ▪️ Huge portion, but lobster was tiny (still fresh & bouncy!) ⚠️ FYI: Minimum 2-person order for lobster pasta (thanks, ) 📍 Sky Sushi ▪️ Top-tier for Italy’s sushi buffets 🍣 ▪️ Best bites: Sweet shrimp, beef nigiri, scallops (limited!) ▪️ Avoid: Weird "chocolate salmon" – stick to fresh sashimi! ☕ Bonus Stops ▪️ Portofino & Rapallo – just sipping espresso at a streetside café = peak Italian chill #Camogli #GenoaTravel #ItalianBeachVibes
