Their food has a rare "wok hei" vibe thatās uncommon in Western brunch! Highly recommend if youāre heading to Pitti Palace or Boboli Gardens ā perfect fuel before exploring! š§ Italian: ćTrattoria ZĆ ZĆ ć Recommending: Lobster pasta Tomato-topped fillet steak Iāve been twice! While some criticize it, Iāve always had a good experience. The pasta is perfectly cooked, the lobster is fresh and springy, and the medium fillet is tender with no gaminess. Pair it with roasted cherry tomatoes for extra juiciness! š§ American Fried Chicken: ćStarChickenć Go for: Chicken thighs (juiciest!), other cuts are great too Sauces: Gravy and signature honey mustard Iāve been here over 5 times ā arguably the best fried chicken in Florence! Crispy outside, tender and juicy inside ā no exaggeration. Note: ā ļø Itās made fresh, so expect a 20-minute wait. š§ Gelato: ćGelateria Della Passerać Favorites: Yogurt (No.1!) Pomegranate Monnalisa Rumored to be Florenceās best gelato ā I went two days in a row! Award-winning and deservedly so š„¹ The staff are energetic and lovely too. š§ Sichuan Chinese: ćYi Restaurantć Highlights: Spicy pig trotters Boiled beef in fiery sauce As a Chengdu native, tasting this felt like home! The chef is also from Chengdu ā the use of Sichuan peppercorns and dried chilies is authentic. Itās not just spicy ā itās fragrant! The beef had a bit too much starch, but still delicious overall. š§ Italian: ćLeonardoć A hidden local canteen on the 2nd floor in the city center ā great value! Recommending: Tiramisu (not too sweet, incredibly smooth ā the standout!) Tuna and onion pasta (restaurant-level taste) Pork chop (huge portion, crispy and tender) I saw workers and students eating here ā 5 dishes for just ā¬25! Skip the chicken liver toast ā way too salty. š§ Sichuan Chinese: ćBa Shifuć Must-order: Soul-stealing chicken claws Fish-fragrant eggplant Spicy trotters Daqian aromatic ribs Soy chicken (forgot the name) Chicken with intestine stew Heavy on the peppers and bold flavors ā every dish goes perfectly with rice.
