🇮🇹 Best Place to Stay in Venice 🏨

Before my trip, I struggled to choose between staying on Venice’s main island (the water city) or Mestre. I saw different opinions online, but finally went with Mestre — and it turned out to be the ⚠️best decision ever! 🏨 Hotel Name: Campanile You can book it on Booking.com. ❤️ Why It’s Great: 1️⃣ Super close to the train and bus stations — just a 5-minute walk. 2️⃣ Lots of restaurants and supermarkets downstairs. Super convenient for shopping 🛒. 3️⃣ Across the street (on the way to the station) there’s a super popular pizza & pasta place — always full of people lining up! 4️⃣ Even though it’s busy, they have a takeaway pizza counter 🍕. We often grabbed a pizza to bring back to the hotel. 5️⃣ Just one stop to Venice main island by train. Trains run every 5 minutes (like a metro). Super easy — you can even buy tickets right before boarding. 🚸 The BIGGEST reason NOT to stay on the main island: Lots of bridges, uneven ground, narrow alleys — it’s a real struggle with luggage 🧳. It’s easy to get lost in the maze of streets. Also, even though this hotel isn’t cheap, prices on the main island are easily double. “Affordable” options there are often farther from the station = longer walk with heavy bags. After experiencing both — Mestre is definitely the smarter choice 👍. BTW, Venice is 100% worth visiting! #Venice #VeniceHotel #WhereToStayInVenice #ItalyTravel #TravelTips #VisitItaly 🇮🇹💙
