🇮🇹 Exploring Bologna the DailyTrip Way

My solo day trip to Bologna turned into an unexpected love affair—now it’s my favorite Italian city! With record stores, bookshops, and intellectuals everywhere, it’s perfect for slow, thoughtful city walks. I’ll definitely be back! Here are my Google Map gems from that day: 💿 Vinyl Heaven: Disco D‘Oro Stumbled upon this cozy record store—vinyl/CDs perfectly organized, with a dedicated room for secondhand gems. No pressure, just pure browsing bliss. Spent an hour here (oops!) and scored Sigur Rós’ limited yellow vinyl for just €20! 🎶 📖 Indie Bookstore Magic: Modo Infoshop My biggest highlight! A hub for small-press art books and zines. Walked in to find a live discussion in the back (very vibes). Fell in love with the artist-made mini books—couldn’t resist buying a few. (P.S. They sell knitted "pussies" at the counter. 😹) 🥪 Mortadella Paradise: Mò Mortadella Lab A local friend’s must-eat pick! 4.8/5 from 4k reviews says it all. Hidden in an alley, this spot serves monster sandwiches—fresh, affordable, and HUGE. I couldn’t finish mine! (Take the rest for dinner. 🥪) 🎨 Modern Art Feels: MAMbo The Modern Art Museum of Bologna blew my mind! Loved the mix of video, photography, installations, and paintings. Saw three exhibits (including a Morandi showcase)—all stellar. Best part? FREE for art students! 🎨 🎓 Bonus: Uni & Art School Vibes Popped into Bologna University and the Academy of Fine Arts—both oozing creative energy. #BolognaLove #ItalianHiddenGems #SoloTravelMagic
