🇮🇹 Florence's World-Class Steakhouse 🥩
Trattoria Dall'Oste 🍽️ After waiting for two days in Florence 🇮🇹, I finally got to try the steak here! On the first night, I went without a reservation. The hostess said there was at least a one-hour wait, and the entrance was packed. I was starving and couldn't wait that long. So, I went to grab pizza on the neighboring street and immediately booked a table for 9 PM the next day on their official website. ⏰ The next day, I arrived right at 9 PM, but I still had to wait about 15 more minutes before getting a seat. The place was absolutely bustling—people waiting outside were blocking the street! It was quite a sight. So, if you plan to go, definitely book in advance to save time‼️ 📍 Trattoria Dall'Oste This restaurant has several branches in Florence, each with its own size and decor. 🍷 The T-bone is the most popular choice. The steak is thickly cut, though ours was a bit on the fatty side. I can't handle rare steaks, but the waiter still recommended medium, which is the most common choice. He also highly suggested ordering roasted potatoes as a side dish! 🥔 🥩 A 1kg steak is more than enough for two people, unless you have a really big appetite. You could go for 1.3kg if you're extra hungry. The waitstaff are polite and will check in on you to make sure everything is okay, even when they're busy. Overall, the service is pretty good. The iron grill is hot enough that you can use its residual heat to reheat small pieces of steak. The meat is tender, juicy, and delicious—not at all tough or dry. It's better than most steaks I've had in the US. The steak, cooked in butter, is especially fragrant when eaten with bread. Don't worry about the calories—a few bites won't hurt, and the taste is truly exceptional! 🥩 The steak comes from local Tuscan cattle, but they also offer Australian and American beef. In Italy, I think it's best to stick with the local Italian beef. 🐮 #Travel #RestaurantRecommendation #HiddenGemRestaurant #Italy #ItalyTravel #Europe #EuropeanTravel #EuropeanLife #WesternCuisine
