šŸ‡®šŸ‡¹ Florence 30,000 Steps City Walk Guide šŸš¶ā€ā™‚ļø

One day in Florence is quite intense—if you prefer a more relaxed pace, consider staying 1.5-2 days. For a deeper experience, 3-4 days would be ideal. Here are the must-visit attractions: šŸ–¼ļø Uffizi Gallery (Galleria degli Uffizi) You simply can’t see it all—you’ll end up skipping some sections! Otherwise, you could easily spend an entire day here. With so many famous works, it’s best to do some research beforehand. Recommended visit: 3-4 hours (any longer and your feet will protest!). šŸŽ« Single ticket: €25/person. Better value: Combo ticket for Uffizi + Pitti Palace + Boboli Gardens (peak season €38/person)—much cheaper than buying separately. I’ll share booking tips in my next post! šŸ›ļø Pitti Palace (Palazzo Pitti) Another art museum focused on paintings, but after Uffizi, you might experience art fatigue šŸ˜…. If staying 2+ days, visit this later. While less famous overall, it still features masterpieces by Raphael, Botticelli, and Titian. Allow 2-3 hours for a proper visit. šŸŽ« Single ticket: €16/person. 🌳 Boboli Gardens (Giardino di Boboli) Connected to Pitti Palace—enter through the right ticket gate for the palace, and the front-right gate for the gardens. These classic European-style gardens are perfect for photos and offer great views of the Duomo. šŸŽ« Single ticket: €10/person. šŸŒ‰ Ponte Vecchio Florence’s most famous bridge. The area from Pitti Palace to the bridge is always crowded. Lots of photo opportunities, but watch your bag—it’s a hotspot for tourists and pickpockets. šŸ° Palazzo Vecchio Once Florence’s city hall, located in Piazza della Signoria. You’ll likely pass it on the way to the Duomo. The highlight is the rooftop view, but it also houses the Hall of the Five Hundred and Dante’s death mask. šŸŽ« €12.5/person—only if you have extra time and interest. ⛪ Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo) The iconic postcard of Florence! Most visitors choose to climb either Giotto’s Campanile (€20) or the Dome (€30). We chose the bell tower—tiring but manageable with breaks. šŸŒ„ Piazzale Michelangelo The ultimate sunset spot! Photos and tips coming in the next post. If you only have one day, consider skipping 1-2 of these: Palazzo Vecchio / Pitti Palace / Boboli Gardens. We skipped Palazzo Vecchio, but due to the combo ticket route, we had to backtrack—quite rushed! With more time, you can enjoy them all. #Florence #FlorenceTravel #Italy #ItalyTravel #ItalianRoadTrip #Duomo #TravelGuide #EuropeDiaries
