🇮🇹 Genoa - Italy's Hidden Gem City

The underrated Genoa is HIGHLY recommended!!! Had one spare day before returning to Germany from Milan, so I visited this closest seaside city to Milan. On sunny days, you can see crystal-clear glass sea 🌊 (though I arrived at dusk and missed it). Still, the colorful town under sunset glow was breathtaking—like a mini Cinque Terre! Best part? Ancient ruins everywhere + super affordable prices!!! Fridge magnets just €1, cheap eats/drinks, and even multiple bubble tea shops 🧋. My Itinerary: 🚶 City Walk: Old Port → Piazza De Ferrari → Genoa Royal Palace (HIGHLY recommend! Stunning interiors for just €2!) Along the way, you'll pass countless historic sites, museums & art galleries. Though the streets are a bit grungy, they're packed with gorgeous sculptures & frescoes—such a walkable city! 🌅 Then took a local bus to Boccadasse for sunset (super convenient!). Pro tip: Download Genoa's transport app to buy tickets—I got a 110-min pass for €2.2 covering all transit 🚌💨. The seaside vibe was so relaxing! Though I missed the glass sea, the sunset was magical—lots of people swimming and chilling. Definitely coming back! Perfect place to live well on a budget 💙 #Genoa #ItalyTravel #HiddenGems
