Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, is where we flew into from Germany ✈️—flights here are more frequent and budget-friendly! 📸 Photo Diary: 1️⃣ 🌊 Cagliari's Port ⚓️ 2️⃣ Bastione Saint Remy – One of the city's most iconic landmarks in the old town. 3️⃣ ⛪️ Cagliari Cathedral & Town Hall 4️⃣ Inside the cathedral—stunning! 🚂 Getting Around ‼️ PSA: Sardinia's transport is not convenient. Rent a car if you can! Public Transport: From the airport, take Trenitalia trains (tickets at red machines). Just 1.2€ to Cagliari Central (7 mins!). Most sights are walkable (hilly but doable—skip buses!). 🏝 Quick Verdict Cagliari works best as a half-day pit-stop—it's charmingly "rustic" (read: a bit run-down in parts) but oozes Southern Italian flair.
