🇮🇹 Hidden Gems in Venice | Recommended by Locals 🏮
Finding a good restaurant in Venice isn’t easy. Most Google ratings are inflated by tourists, making scores often mismatch the actual experience. Here are some authentic spots recommended by Venetians – places I revisit every time I’m in town! 🧡 1️⃣ Ristorante ai Barbacani Tucked away in a small alley – cozy, elegant, and quiet. 🏮 2️⃣ Ristorante da Mario alla Fava Serves traditional Venetian cuisine with classic flavors. 🐟 3️⃣ Paradiso Perduto A true hidden gem! 🦪 No-frills vibe, famous for cicchetti (snacks) and seafood platters. Very local! Note: It’s narrow and can get loud – avoid if you prefer a quiet setting. 4️⃣ Vini da Gigio Located in an unassuming corner – intimate and elegant. Besides classic dishes, they offer seasonal specialties. Their Fegato alla Veneziana (Venetian-style liver) is legendary! 👑 5️⃣ Ai Stagneri Wine Bar 🍷 Near San Marco – Spritz here is under €5! 🍹 I finally believe the rumor that Venetians won’t pay more than €5 for Spritz – in Milan it’s €10+! Tip: Always order Select instead of Campari – it’s sweeter and a true Venetian tradition. ⚠️ Except for the wine bar, all places require reservations in advance! I was too busy eating to take many photos 😅 – check Google Maps for more visuals! #Venice #VeniceTravel #VeniceRestaurants #ItalianCuisine #AuthenticFood #HiddenGems #TravelItaly 🇮🇹✨
