๐ฎ๐น Hiking Diary Near Turin
This time I visited a small town called Brusson, about an hour's drive from Turin ๐๐จ. Located in the upper right part of Aosta, close to Switzerland ๐จ๐ญ, itโs already a lesser-known spot โ and with it being off-season, I encountered more cows and horses ๐๐ด than people! A true paradise for introverts ๐๐, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The houses in the town are incredibly charming, like something straight out of a fairy tale ๐กโจ. The lake is simply named Lago di Brusson ๐งโ crystal clear and serene. We stayed by the lake a bit too long, so by the time we started hiking, it was almost evening ๐. Luckily, our destination wasnโt far: a cheese factory called La Tchavana ๐ง, where you can buy fresh cheese and surprisingly delicious homemade gelato ๐ฆ. The hike took about an hour round-trip. As the sun set, the temperature dropped significantly โ dressing warmly is a must! โ๏ธ๐งฃ ๐ Because itโs the low season, the guesthouse we stayed at was very affordable โ โฌ50 per night including breakfast ๐ณโ. The room had one double bed and one single bed. Best of all? A cozy wooden cabin warmed by a fireplace ๐ชต๐ฅ. โ ๏ธ The road conditions are quite steep with lots of sharp turns ๐ฃ๏ธโฉ๏ธ. If youโre driving, be very careful! With winter approaching โ๏ธ, donโt forget to switch to snow tires. #DayTripFromTurin #TravelItaly #HikingInItaly #ExploreEurope #LifeInItaly #MountainLife #HikingAdventure #EscapeTheCity
