๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Hiking Diary Near Turin

This time I visited a small town called Brusson, about an hour's drive from Turin ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’จ. Located in the upper right part of Aosta, close to Switzerland ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ, itโ€™s already a lesser-known spot โ€” and with it being off-season, I encountered more cows and horses ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿด than people! A true paradise for introverts ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿƒ, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The houses in the town are incredibly charming, like something straight out of a fairy tale ๐Ÿกโœจ. The lake is simply named Lago di Brusson ๐Ÿ’งโ€” crystal clear and serene. We stayed by the lake a bit too long, so by the time we started hiking, it was almost evening ๐ŸŒ†. Luckily, our destination wasnโ€™t far: a cheese factory called La Tchavana ๐Ÿง€, where you can buy fresh cheese and surprisingly delicious homemade gelato ๐Ÿฆ. The hike took about an hour round-trip. As the sun set, the temperature dropped significantly โ€” dressing warmly is a must! โ„๏ธ๐Ÿงฃ ๐Ÿ  Because itโ€™s the low season, the guesthouse we stayed at was very affordable โ€” โ‚ฌ50 per night including breakfast ๐Ÿณโ˜•. The room had one double bed and one single bed. Best of all? A cozy wooden cabin warmed by a fireplace ๐Ÿชต๐Ÿ”ฅ. โš ๏ธ The road conditions are quite steep with lots of sharp turns ๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธโ†ฉ๏ธ. If youโ€™re driving, be very careful! With winter approaching โ„๏ธ, donโ€™t forget to switch to snow tires. #DayTripFromTurin #TravelItaly #HikingInItaly #ExploreEurope #LifeInItaly #MountainLife #HikingAdventure #EscapeTheCity
