🇮🇹 Italy 10-Day Itinerary & Travel Guide

Just got back from Italy last week! 🎉 Spent 10 amazing days exploring Venice, Florence, Pisa, Tuscany, Siena, Rome, Vatican City, Positano, Amalfi Coast, and Capri — from north to south! Even got our wedding photos taken 👰💖. Every place was incredible! Planning is key for a Euro trip, so here’s my tight but fulfilling 10-day schedule for reference 💫： Day 0: Shanghai ✈️ Venice (Direct flight with China Eastern Airlines) Overnight flight (12 hrs), landed in Italy at 7 AM — perfect for beating jet lag! 😴 Day 1: Checked into hotel in Venice (stay near Mestre Station 🚉 for easy access). Bought tickets to the main island. Explored outer loop: St. Mark‘s Square, Doge’s Palace, Bridge of Sighs, Rialto Bridge. Watched sunset at the square 🌅. 🏠 Venice Day 2: More Venice! Inner loop: Accademia Gallery, opera house, Caffè Florian. Two days is ideal to cover Venice 🛶. 🏠 Venice Day 3: Venice → Florence 🚆 Took train (2-3 hrs). Ate at Central Market 🧀, visited art museums, watched sunset at Ponte Vecchio, strolled Boboli Gardens. 🏠 Florence Day 4: Full-day wedding photoshoot in Florence! 📸 Locations: Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio, Piazzale Michelangelo for sunset. 🏠 Florence Day 5: Joined day tour to Pisa (Leaning Tower 🏛️), Tuscan wine tasting 🍷, Siena & San Gimignano. Back to Florence for opera night 🎭. 🏠 Florence Day 6: Florence → Positano 🚆→🚢 High-speed train to Naples (3 hrs), then ferry to Positano (1 hr). Explored Amalfi Coast shops 🏖️. 🏠 Positano Day 7: Positano → Capri Island 🚤 Bought round-trip boat tickets (1 hr each way). Spent day exploring Capri 💙. 🏠 Positano Day 8: Positano → Rome 🚐 Private van ride (3-4 hrs).
