๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Sicily No. 1 - Sal 8

The best meal of this trip so far! Friends passing through Agrigento, this is a must-visit spot ๐Ÿ˜‹ ๐Ÿด Sal 8 is located on the main street of Agrigento, very easy to find. There are no parking spots nearby, so parking is a bit inconvenient. ๐Ÿš˜ - For the starter, I ordered tomatoes. Sicily is famous not only for its lemons but also for its tomatoes. They were refreshing and fresh, making a great appetizer. ๐Ÿ… - For pasta, I chose Paccheri neri with squid sauce and burrata. Highly recommended! You have to try it. The handmade pasta is very chewy, and the dough is filled with sauce. The squid was incredibly fresh, and we finished every last bite! ๐Ÿฆ‘ - Tuna three ways: This dish looks and tastes like Japanese cuisine, but itโ€™s a Sicilian specialty. Caponata (chopped vegetables mixed with tuna), sesame tuna chunks, and Sicilian lemon-flavored tuna with arugula. Definitely worth a try! ๐ŸŸ - Fried seafood: The best of the night! After finishing two main courses, we ordered another one. Compared to fried seafood from other places, this was a standout! The seafood was incredibly fresh and sweet. The squid rings were thick and juicy, and the shrimp were already peeled. A squeeze of lemon on top made it perfect! ๐Ÿ‘ - Tiramisu: Sooo good! The best tiramisu ever! The cream had an ice cream-like texture, paired with moist cake. The waiter also highly recommended it. The portion is quite large; one is enough for two people. ๐Ÿฐ - Limonata: A Sicilian specialty drink, lemon mixed with sparkling water. ๐Ÿซง How could it not be delicious? ๐Ÿ’ฐ Total bill: 84 Euros #Sicily #Italy #ItalianLife #WhatToEatInItaly #SlowLife #Agrigento #RestaurantRecommendation
