🇮🇹 Siena Restaurant Recommendation 🍴🍷
✨The waitstaff, a few young guys, spoke excellent English. One of them even shared the story of how the wine cellar used to be a church and invited me to check it out after my meal. 🍟The restaurant’s signature dishes are all about 【fresh truffles】. The truffle steak and truffle pasta 🍝 are must-orders. 💗Since I’d been eating pasta every day in Italy, I skipped it this time and went for an appetizer instead—I finished all the veggies but left half of the bread. 🌈 The steak was delicious, highlighting the natural flavor of the ingredients without any heavy seasoning. Fresh black truffle was shaved right onto the steak at the table! Reservations are recommended during the summer peak season, especially for dinner. A meal here costs under €50 per person without wine, but I highly recommend trying their selection—after all, it’s a taverna. 🍸After the main course, don’t miss their homemade tiramisu. Siena is said to be the birthplace of tiramisu, after all. 🧀Restaurant: La Taverna di San Giuseppe Address: Via Giovanni Dupre 132, 53100 Siena, Italy #ItalianCuisine #Siena #TrufflePasta
