🇮🇹 Solo Trip : One-Day Itinerary in Bologna
🏰On the day I set off from Rome to Bologna, the week-long sunny weather came to an end, and it started raining early in the morning. 📘By the time I arrived in Bologna up north, the rain was heavier and the temperature had dropped even further. I shivered in the cold wind and downpour, wearing only a short-sleeved shirt. 💌Fortunately, Bologna is never short on warmth. This city is the birthplace of ragù pasta and lasagna, and is even nicknamed "La Grassa" (The Fat One). 💎 It is also home to the first university in Europe. ✅ One-Day Walking Route 🌟 University of Bologna: An open-campus university where the ancient porticoes, National Art Gallery, and Palazzo Poggi Museum are well worth a visit. 🌟 Two Towers (Le Due Torri): The iconic landmarks of Bologna, with a noticeable tilt. Currently, they are not open for entry. 🪷 Archiginnasio of Bologna Municipal Library: The Anatomy Theatre requires a ticket for entry, but the library is not open to tourists. 🌴 Basilica of San Petronio: The stained-glass windows are breathtakingly beautiful.🌟 Cathedral of Saint Peter: The dome above the altar is spectacular. #Italy #TravelAroundTheWorld #Bologna
