🇮🇹 Torino 🇮🇹 City Walk
🚗 The drive from Zurich to Turin took almost 5 hours. We set off in the morning, made a stop in Aosta (a very clean and cozy Italian town) for lunch 🍝, and arrived in Turin around 3 PM. 🇮🇹 Originally, I planned to visit several museums 🖼️, but by the time we arrived, most were already closed. Since many museums are also closed on Mondays, we ended up strolling around the city center instead 👣. 🏨 Almost all of Turin’s attractions are located in the city center and are within walking distance. 👣 Our City Walk route: Piazza Statuto 🏛️ → Porta Palatina 🏛️ → Palazzo Reale di Torino 👑 → Palazzo Madama 🏰 → Mole Antonelliana 🗼 → Piazza San Carlo ☕ → Piazza Solferino 🌳 Whenever we got tired, we just picked a café, sat down, and enjoyed a coffee while soaking in the atmosphere of this history-rich city filled with museums 🏰☕. 📌 For the Mole Antonelliana, it’s best to book tickets online in advance 🎫. We went early the next morning—no queue, so we walked in and bought tickets on the spot. There’s a discount for visitors under 26. A general combo ticket (tower + cinema museum) costs 💶20. Later, we drove to Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini ⛪, a hilltop church that offers a panoramic view of almost the entire city 🌆👀. 🌅 Breakfast Recommendation: Caffé Al Bicerin ☕ Piazza della Consolata, 5, 10122 Torino A 261-year-old café 🏛️! Must-try: Bicerin ☕—a traditional Turin-style layered drink made with espresso, hot chocolate, and milk, served in a small glass goblet. The server specifically reminded us: “Don’t mix it with a spoon!” 😄 🌄 Dinner Recommendation: Antica Bruschetteria Pautasso 🍽️ Piazza Emanuele Filiberto, 4, 10122 Torino We tried the agnolotti (Italian meat-filled pasta) 🥟, Brasato al Barolo (Braised Beef in Barolo Wine) 🍷🥩, and panna cotta 🍮. Everything was delicious—definitely worth a visit! #Italy #TravelItaly #Turin #VisitTurin #TurinTravelGuide #DayTrip #Travel #TravelDiaries #CityWalk #IsItCityOrNot
