🇮🇹 Venice Diary: A Romantic Escape + Travel & Food Guide 💌

This was my third time in Venice, and it still took my breath away! Every corner looks like a postcard 🖼️, and I even caught a magical sunset by chance 🌅. I love the freedom, romance, and laid-back vibe of this city 💕. Time just seems to move slower here… Here are some tips from my trip: 🚫 Avoid Staying on the Island Don’t do it! Hotels are expensive 💸, often outdated, and dragging luggage over cobblestone streets and up bridge stairs is a nightmare 🧳😓. 🚤 Transport Venice is the only city in the world with no cars! If driving 🚗, park outside the island (not cheap). Get around on foot or by water bus/taxi 🛥️. Walking is totally doable—most attractions are within walking distance. 🏨 Accommodation Stay in Mestre—just outside Venice: Better value, modern hotels, easy access to trains and buses. I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn and Four Points by Sheraton. Highly recommend Hilton—bus stop right outside 🚌, 20 mins to Venice, frequent rides. 🍴 Food Highlights 🍦 Gelato: Suso (Lisa from Blackpink visited!) is popular but… I preferred Gelateria Gallonetto 🥰—richer flavors, especially the pistachio! 🍝 Must-try: Trattoria Bar Pontini: Their seafood pasta is a hidden gem 🦐🍝—fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable! #Venice #ItalyTravel #EuropeDiaries #TravelTips #HotelRecommendations #GelatoLover
