🇮🇹 Venice in One Day | No-Backtracking Ultimate Guide

✨ Finally stepping into the Venice of my childhood textbooks! 🚗 No cars here—just boats 🚣‍♀️ and endless canals. But walking works too! SAVE this foolproof guide 👇 🚶 Zero backtracking, max efficiency! ✅ Itinerary: Santa Lucia Station → Ponte degli Scalzi → Rialto Bridge → Libreria Acqua Alta → St. Mark’s Square → Accademia Bridge → Back to station 💡 Tips: 1️⃣ Walking: ~20,000 steps (doable in a day!). 2️⃣ Vaporetto (Water Bus): Single ride: €9.5 (valid 75 mins, unlimited transfers). Passes: 1-day €25 | 2-day €35 | 3-day €45. Check routes (Pic 6)! For Murano (Glass Island) or Burano (Rainbow Island), you’ll need this. 3️⃣ Gondola Ride: €80/boat (split with friends! Best for narrow canals). 4️⃣ Water Taxi: €80-90 (pricey! Not recommended). 📸 Must-See Spots: 1️⃣ Ponte degli Scalzi: First bridge from the station. Watch out for scams! 2️⃣ Rialto Bridge: Snap the textbook-perfect canal view. 3️⃣ Libreria Acqua Alta: Free gondola photo spot (expect queues!). 4️⃣ St. Mark’s Square: Hit the Basilica, Doge’s Palace & Bell Tower nearby. 5️⃣ Bridge of Sighs: Get a pic underneath with passing gondolas. 6️⃣ Accademia Bridge: Iconic Venice postcard shot. 🏠 Accommodation Hack: 💸 Venice hotels = $$$. We stayed near Mestre Station (10-min train to Venice, €1.45!). #TravelHacks #VeniceGuide #ItalyTravel #Wanderlust
