🇮🇹 Venice One-Day Guide – Less Walking, More Amazing Shots! 🤲
Following last year’s guide on how to buy water bus tickets in Venice, here’s the full one-day itinerary! We stayed outside the island the night before and took a train away from Venice in the evening after sightseeing. 🍽️ Lunch note ⭐ Restaurants on the island are expensive and often disappointing. I tried squid ink pasta – not particularly special, and it might ruin your makeup around the lips lol 😅 Better to bring your own food or grab a bite from a convenience store. If you do eat out, check the menu prices carefully – many places overcharge tourists and add service fees. 🔙 Return route: 🚌 Head back to Mestre around 18:00 Take the water bus from Accademia station to Piazzale Roma, then transfer to train/bus back to Mestre (last departure at 23:00). 💰 About souvenirs & gondolas: Always negotiate the price for a gondola ride! For souvenirs, consider glass ornaments and fridge magnets – they’re pretty! But remember to compare prices and bargain – the price differences can be huge 😂 🧁 Sweet treats on the main island: Tiramisu: I Tre Mercanti (near St. Mark’s Square) – rich coffee and wine flavor, €4/slice 🍮 Suso Gelato: A viral gelato spot – try pistachio + lemon double scoop! 🍦 #Venice #VeniceTravel #VisitVenice #VeniceGuide #Italy #ItalyTravel #TravelItaly #ItalyGuide #VeniceItaly
