🇮🇹 Venice One-Day Itinerary: No Backtracking! 🌊
🚶♀️ Perfect Citywalk Route 1️⃣ Ponte degli Scalzi (Scalzi Bridge) - Start here! 2️⃣ Rialto Bridge - The iconic bridge from your elementary school textbook! 3️⃣ St. Mark’s Square - Watch out for pickpockets! 🚨 4️⃣ Bridge of Sighs - Must take photos from below—even better if a gondola passes by! 5️⃣ Waterfront at Night - Venice’s unique blue magic for stunning shots. ✅ This route flows perfectly in one day! 🚢 Transport Tips Walk: Best if time is tight (all spots are close). Vaporetto (Water Bus): Single ticket: €9.5 (valid 75 mins, unlimited transfers). Day pass: €25 (€35 for 2 days). Gondola Sharing: €80/boat (split with friends for a hidden canals tour!). Water Taxi: Fast but pricey (like a land taxi, but on water 💸). 🏠 Accommodation Avoid main island hotels—stay in Mestre (cheaper & convenient). We booked a cozy B&B near Mestre train station (€65/night for 2). Train to Venice: €1.45, runs every few mins (buy tickets on the spot). 🍴 No-Fail Food Spots 📍 On Main Island (Santa Lucia Area) 🍝 Fried Land (hidden gem!) Black ink pasta (€8): Perfectly balanced tomato & squid ink. Fried seafood (€8): Crispy & fresh. 🍦 Suso Gelato Good but not mind-blowing (€4 for 2 scoops + cone). 📍 In Mestre (Near Train Station) 🍤 Da Michele (BEST MEAL!) Seafood pasta (€21): HUGE portion—enough for 2! 🍢 (Chinese BBQ) Grilled fish (€28): Great before catching your train! 📸 Pro Photo Spots Check my previous post for the most Instagrammable angles! #Venice #ItalyTravel #FoodieGuide #NoBacktracking
