🇮🇹 Your One-Day Venice Guide Is Here!
Following last year’s guide on how to buy water bus tickets in Venice, here’s the full one-day itinerary! We stayed outside the island the night before, explored during the day, and took an evening train out of Venice. The full route and tips are in Some pretty photos coming up later~ 🍝 Lunch Not Really Recommended ⭐ Personal opinion: restaurants on the island are overpriced and often disappointing. I tried black squid ink pasta—it was okay, but be careful, it can mess up your lipstick! 💄😅 Better to bring your own snacks or grab something from a convenience store. If you do eat out, check the prices—many places overcharge tourists and add extra service fees. 🔙 Return Route: 🚌 Head back to Mestre around 18:00 Take the water bus from Accademia to Piazzale Roma, then transfer to a train/bus to Mestre (last departure at 23:00). 💰 Gondolas & Souvenirs: Always negotiate the price for a gondola ride! 🛶 For souvenirs, consider glass ornaments and fridge magnets—they’re pretty! But remember to compare prices and bargain. The price differences can be huge 😂. 🧁 Sweet Treats on the Main Island: Tiramisu: I Tre Mercanti (near St. Mark’s Square) – rich coffee and wine flavor, €4/slice 🍮 Gelato: SUSO – viral ice cream shop, highly recommend pistachio + lemon combo 🍦 #Venice #VeniceTravel #VisitVenice #VeniceGuide #Italy #ItalianHoliday #TravelItaly #ItalyGuide #VeniceItaly 🇮🇹✨
