🇯🇵 A Week of Great Meals in Tokyo — Zero Regrets! 🍜

1️⃣ Aramaki 🔥 Yakitori omakase — the charcoal aroma is mesmerizing! Most surprising: chicken oyster & chicken wings stuffed with mushrooms. The rice section was a 3-way delight with chestnuts & mushrooms: As is Add egg yolk (explosion of flavor!) Finish with bonito flakes I literally had three bowls 🤣 With drinks & tax, ~$100 — about the same as a few takeout orders in LA. 2️⃣ Gucci Osteria Mainly for the vibe + photos 📸 My friend and I ordered the aperitivo stand to avoid getting too full. Honestly, my Asian palate thinks looks > taste here 😂 But the atmosphere is gorgeous — our table was tucked away, so we snapped pics freely! 3️⃣ Nanadaime Tora A robatayaki spot so good I almost returned the next day! 🔥 Haven’t had this style since a place in NYC’s East Village (now closed…). Menu changes daily — pick fish fresh, order as you go, super chill. Funny story: I ordered steak and gestured to confirm — ended up with two portions… but finished both anyway 😂 Really want to go back for their fried chicken — smelled incredible. 4️⃣ Kien Found this gem scrolling Google Maps from my hotel — easy to book! Got seated in a 4-person private booth, with attentive service and explanations for each course. Highlight: the fried platter (tofu, turtle, fish cake, etc.) and the egg + duck breast + mushroom soup 🍲 At the end, the claypot rice + ¥3000 for uni & truffle — MUST add! They even packed leftovers into onigiri. 5️⃣ Sudachi Seafood-focused kaiseki 🍣 The white eel was amazing, but my favorite was the last pot of plain white rice! Final course: sashimi + sesame sauce ochazuke — so fragrant I went for a second bowl 😭 (Spent all day wishing they’d packed it into onigiri too, haha.) 6️⃣ Craftale Went specifically for dessert 🍰 Visually stunning — and tastes didn’t disappoint! Lunch course is wallet-friendly and not too heavy. Overall: starts slow, ends strong. Dessert alone is worth it — highly recommend! 7️⃣ Mitate Soba Originally wanted Kōga but it was full — switched here and no regrets! Saturday = à la carte orders allowed. Their tempura and soba are top-tier. Tried bear meat soba (couldn’t really taste the bear though 😂). Would’ve ordered duck soba if available that day! #ImmersiveJapaneseFood #JapaneseCuisine #TokyoEats #TokyoFood #TokyoTravel 🗼
