If you’re someone who loves traveling and taking photos like me, you simply can’t miss this hidden gem—the Starfield Library ✨ located inside Starfield COEX Mall in Gangnam District! This library offers free admission, and visitors are welcome to enter, exit, and take photos freely 🥹. Besides tourists here for photo ops, there are also many people who come to work or read in earnest 🤗. Just remember not to disturb them, and you’ll be good to go 👍! The library looks huge in photos, but in reality, it’s quite small—you can take it all in with a single glance. However, looking up from the ground, it’s still incredibly spectacular 😍! So here’s the pro tip for photos 📷: shoot from the bottom upwards! That’s how you get the best shots 👍. The iconic escalator is a must-photograph spot, so you’ll often see lots of people repeatedly going up and down the escalator to get the perfect pic 🤣. Taking photos here requires a little patience and coordination with your photographer (or self-timer!). Before stepping onto the escalator, try to keep a half-floor distance from the person in front of you. Also, keep an eye on the opposite escalator to check for crowds! If you pick a time when there are fewer people, you can definitely get photos without random passersby in the frame 👍. Inside the library, there are also Starbucks and Arabica. With a cup of coffee in hand and books around, I could easily spend the whole afternoon here! I arrived around 11 AM, and the natural light was great—but it lacked that warm, golden ambiance.
