Kandy - The Empire Cafe 💁🏻‍♀️This restaurant is located in the center of Kandy, next to the Temple of the Tooth Relic. It was originally a hotel opened in 1898 with a long history. After a fire 🧯 in 2010, it was renovated and taken over in 2014 to become the current restaurant. The decoration is full of a sense of history, but there are many paintings with emerging styles hanging in the restaurant, and these paintings are also sold as postcards 👍🏻 ⭐️The restaurant offers local dishes, as well as Western dishes, desserts, wines and juices. It takes some time to wait for the food, so you can walk around, pick out postcards, take photos, and slowly enjoy the atmosphere here 💛 💁🏻‍♀️Empire Classic Seven small dishes + Sri Lankan rice with crispy thin pancakes. There are mainly several kinds of vegetables, chicken, and curry. The rice here is grainy, with a loose texture, which is good. 🌲🌲 ☘️Moreover, the rice is mixed with spices, so it is particularly fragrant. The seven small dishes are very tasty and flavorful, with just the right portion. The curry here is quite spicy, which is perfect for friends who like spicy food, it's exciting enough 😛 💁🏻‍♀️B.L.A.T Wrap Since there are too many chances to eat rice and noodles here, I tried the Wrap. With simple ingredients - bacon, tomato, vegetables, avocado - after their seasoning and unique sauce, it becomes very delicious 😬 Their fries are fried very crispy, sprinkled with a little spicy powder, especially fragrant. All the crispy fries were eaten up 😛😛 So satisfying 😌 💁🏻‍♀️Lankan Pancake Sri Lanka is famous for King's Coconut. They often add coconut oil and shredded coconut to food. Sometimes you can even taste coconut in fried rice 😂 Even this pancake dessert has shredded coconut and bananas added, which is quite sweet, but paired with fresh seasonal fruits, it's just right.
