🇲🇦 Casablanca | The Perfect No-Backtracking City Walk
Known as the "White City," Casablanca blends Arab charm, French elegance, and Iberian flair—my 14th country explored in North Africa! Strolling its streets, I was amazed: "This doesn’t feel like Africa at all!" The infrastructure is fantastic, and after experiencing Morocco, it’s like I’ve "finished all of Africa’s hardships"… now, pure relaxation begins! 🚶 Walking Route (All within 2-3km!) 1️⃣ Mohammed V Square 🕊️ French colonial-style plaza filled with chubby pigeons drinking from fountains. The Casablanca Airport is named after this square! 2️⃣ Sacred Heart Cathedral ⛪ One of only four all-stone Gothic churches in the world! (Couldn’t find the entrance but snapped some moody pics.) 3️⃣ Medina Market 🛍️ Shopper’s paradise for Moroccan dresses, bags & shoes—haggle hard! Saving my purchases for the flight back. 4️⃣ Ancienne Medina (Old Town) ☕ Wandering alleys, sipping mint tea & coffee in hidden cafés. Locals greet you in Chinese/English/French—cats nap everywhere (just like Istanbul!). 5️⃣ Hassan II Mosque 🌊 (Must-See!) World’s 3rd-largest mosque, partly built over the Atlantic. Even on a foggy day, the oceanfront views are magical. Sat by the sea, staring at its grandeur… perfect for sunset if skies clear! Final Thoughts: A chill, walkable day blending history, culture, and seaside serenity. #Morocco #Casablanca #AfricaTravel #CityWalk #TravelDiaries #Wanderlust 🌍✨
