🇲🇦 Morocco Travel Guide (Part 1): Agadir 🏖️

For our 8-day Morocco trip 🇲🇦, we only visited Agadir & Marrakech—perfect for travelers who prefer a chilled vacation without rushing! 🏝️ Here's my personal experience covering food, accommodation, and transportation to boost your Moroccan adventure! 🚀 🏠 Accommodation in Agadir Recommendation: Stay in Taghazout (a surf town near the beach 🏄‍♂️🌊). It's quiet & cozy, but a bit far from the city—you'll need taxis. 🚕 We stayed at two hotels: 1️⃣ Hyatt Regency Taghazout ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!) ✔ New, sparkly clean rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows & balcony 🪟✨ ✔ Private beach & pool 🏖️ (small but peaceful, mostly European/American guests) ✔ Two amazing restaurants: Buffet & French (both mouthwatering! 🍽️😋) ✔ Sunset dining at the French restaurant 🌅—unreal ocean views! 💖 💰 Prices similar to the UK. 🇬🇧 2️⃣ Hotel Riu Palace Tikida Taghazout ⭐️⭐ (Meh...) ✖ All-inclusive but crowded & noisy 🎉➡️😵 ✖ 4 specialty restaurants need reservations (good luck getting in! 🍽️❌) ✖ "Free" drinks but taste like water 🍹🚱 ✖ Old, stuffy rooms with sandpaper sheets 🛏️😖 ✖ WiFi? More like "Wi-Fake" (bye-bye signal in bathroom 🚽📵) 👎 My boyfriend said it felt like a "Soviet-era dorm"... 😂 🍽️ Food & Drinks ✔ Mostly ate at hotels (Hyatt's food was 🔥!) ✔ Fresh juices at Souk El Had market (pomegranate-orange = LIFE! 🍊❤️) ✖ Local fruits? BIG NO. Strawberries & grapes 🍇 were expensive & tasted like sadness... 😭 🚗 Transportation Explore for 2 days, then CHILLAX at the hotel! 🏖️🍹 1️⃣ Half-day adventure: 📍 La Medina (Old Town) → Souk El Had Market 🛍️🕌 → Cable Car Ride 🚡 (EPIC coastline views!) 2️⃣ Crocoparc 🐊🌵 ✔ Cactus garden, giant lizards, crocodiles & snakes! 🦎🐍 🚖 We used private cars only (no public transport). ⚠️ AVOID hotel drivers—they'll rob you! 💸 💡 Pro tip: Book a local taxi the night before—saves ~40%! 💰🙌 🌍 Travel Tips ✔ Perfect for: Beach bums 🏖️, surfers 🏄‍♂️, slow travelers 🐢 ✔ Visa: VISA-FREE for many! 🎉✈️ ✔ Best time: April-October (sunshine galore! ☀️) #Morocco #Agadir 🌊 #TravelGuide ✈️ #VisaFree 🌍 #BeachVibes 🏖️
