🇲🇽 First Impressions of Mexico~Juárez❤️
Driving through El Paso, Texas—and suddenly, there it was: Mexico right across the border! 🌵🇲🇽 I used to think Mexico was all about drug cartels and violence… but I was SO wrong! ❌🙏 If you’re passing through Texas, don’t miss crossing over—even just for a day! People here are incredibly warm—strangers smile at you on the street just because you look like a visitor 😊❤️. 🌟 Must-Visit Spots: - Juárez Cathedral : Built in 1935 ⛪️. Opens at 9 AM—perfect to join locals for morning prayer or quiet reflection. - Museo de la Revolución: Housed in a beautiful Spanish-style building 🏛️. Although it’s called the “Revolution Museum,” it tells deeper stories about Juárez as a border city. The vintage photos are powerful 📸 (some English captions, but bring Google Translate!). - 🍽️ Villa Del Mar Restaurant Go for brunch—traditional Mexican breakfasts! 🌮🍳 Dinner = SEAFOOD FEAST 🦞🐟 Portions are HUGE—I ordered two dishes and couldn’t finish 😭👌 Leave your stereotypes behind—this city is full of warmth, history, and delicious food!* 🌮❤️🌵 💡 Tips - Few people speak English—use Google Translate 🗣️📱 - USD is accepted, but you’ll get better deals with pesos 💵➡️💰 #JuarezMexico #BorderTownVibes #MexicoTravel #RealMexico
