🇲🇽 San Miguel de Allende | A Relaxed 2-Day & 1-Night Guide

🚌 Transportation: Took the ETN bus from Guanajuato to San Miguel — booked in advance on their official website. The ride was smooth and only about 1.5 hours! 🏡 Accommodation: Stayed at a guesthouse just 5 mins walk from the center. No A/C, but it had a lovely rooftop terrace with nice views 🌆 — perfect for evenings. The location was super convenient! 🍽️ Food: 🌮 Don Taco Tequila:A vegetarian spot but super tasty! My friend ordered a mushroom dish — delicious 😋 Their nachos are huge — a half portion was enough for two. 🍫 Chocolates y Churros San Agustín:Got a churro sundae, but it was just okay. The churros were cold and not as crispy and soft as fresh ones — slightly disappointing. ☕ Lavanda Café de Especialidad:A classic spot! Went around 10 AM on a weekday and waited about 10 mins. Their casserole was pretty good 👍 📸 Highlights: Didn’t hit many specific spots, but the colorful alleys themselves are full of surprises 🎨 Every corner is Instagram-worthy! Of course, the churches are gorgeous from the outside — no need to go in for great photos 📸 The top of Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel 🏰 Entrance of Templo de San Francisco de Asís Jardin Allende is the garden in front of the pink church — perfect for sitting after sunset 🌄 Very relaxing. During the day it’s crowded but shady — a lifesaver since San Miguel gets SO hot in May 🔥 Also went to El Mirador for sunset — the view was okay, but the pink sky was stunning! 💖 #Mexico #TravelMexico #SanMiguelDeAllende #SanMiguel #TravelGuide #Wanderlust
