🇳🇱 Amsterdam Food Guide: Hits & Misses
🍴 CHUN A breakfast spot famous for trendy Korean-style sandwiches 🥪. Many recommend it — we tried the bacon & egg and shrimp & egg versions. Tasty, but the toast was too oily. They also serve matcha, coffee, and bubble tea. ⚠️ Line took over 1 hour — kitchen closes at 5 PM. 💵 €17 per person 🍴 MOAK Known for pancakes 🥞 (sweet and savory). We had coffee, but many order their fresh juices. ⚠️ Often busy — expect a wait. 💵 €10 per person 🍴 Sea Palace A famous Chinese restaurant, but honestly… overhyped. Pretty average. 💵 €60 per person 🍴 Fulu Mandarijn So good! Especially the spicy chicken — totally my style. 💵 €40 per person 🍴 Nooch An unplanned find — Japanese fusion. We skipped the long line at CHUN and ended up here. Tried the duck sushi roll and Vietnamese ramen — delicious! 💵 €20 per person 🍴 Polaberry Instagram-famous chocolate-covered strawberries 🍓. Cute but overpriced. Also has passion fruit versions. Near the Tulip Museum. 💵 €3 per strawberry 🍴 Flagship Boat tour with cheese and unlimited drinks. Overpriced — €37 for ~1 hour. Windows everywhere but hard to see or take good photos. 🍴 Van Wonderen Overhyped stroopwafels — way too sweet and expensive. 💵 Small portion €10 🍴 Small Talk Local café with lunch/brunch options. We had beef with veggies and fries. Right across from the Van Gogh Museum — convenient! 💵 €25 per person 🍴 Phó King Many recommended their Vietnamese pho. We went near closing — broth had way too much oyster sauce. Got sick of it quickly. No restroom. 💵 €20 per person #Amsterdam #FoodGuide #FoodReview #Foodie #TravelEats #FoodDiary
