🇳🇱 Arnhem Day Trip Guide 🏃 Audrey Hepburn’s Hometown
Hey there, new friends in the eastern Netherlands! Since I’ve only written about Nijmegen before, here’s a citywalk guide to Arnhem—a city I’ve visited 3-4 times and absolutely love! (Fun fact: It’s where Audrey Hepburn once lived! 😊) Don’t forget to like, save & share if you enjoy it! ❤️ ➡️ Arnhem Central Station (South Route) 🚆 1️⃣ Arnhem Centraal Station – A must-visit! Took over a decade to renovate, but now it’s super photogenic. 📸 2️⃣ Eusebius Church (De Eusebius - Glazen balkons) ⛪ – Features a glass balcony with stunning city views! Perfect for pics. 3️⃣ John Frost Bridge 🌉 – Best visited at sunset for a romantic vibe. 4️⃣ Airborne Museum 🪖 – Great for WWII history buffs, but skippable if not your thing. 5️⃣ Foodhall Arnhem 🍜 – Tons of international food stalls (including Asian options!), plus a fancy interior. ➡️ Arnhem North Route (My Personal Favorite!) 🌿 1️⃣ Museum Arnhem 🎨 – A cool modern art museum to start your day. 2️⃣ Park Walk/Picnic 🧺 – Perfect for relaxing or a sunny-day picnic. 3️⃣ Water Museum & Waterfall 💦 – Small but cute, with a mini waterfall and gardens. 4️⃣ Zypendaal Villa 🏰 – A classic Dutch mansion worth checking out. 5️⃣ Burgers’ Zoo 🦍 – All the way north! I mostly remember the giant gorilla, but it’s fun! ➡️ Final Fun Fact 🤩 Some of you might know me from last year’s volleyball championships (with Phoenix Legend playing in the background! 🎶😂). Arnhem is full of surprises—hope you enjoy it too! #TravelDiaries #Arnhem #Netherlands #ExploreHolland #DutchLife #HiddenGems #Citywalk #TravelGuide
