🇳🇱 Exploring the Famous Dutch Delta Works: A Fun-Filled Adventure!
The Delta Works, the most famous hydraulic engineering project in the Netherlands, holds a special place in my heart. I still remember my first week in the Netherlands 20 years ago when my school organized a trip here. Back then, jet lag and motion sickness kept me from fully appreciating it, and I vaguely recall there weren’t as many activities as there are now—today, it’s a paradise for kids! 🐋 Whale Corridor – A brief introduction to the history of whales. ⛵ Boat Tour – Spot seals sunbathing on the sandbanks and get an up-close look at the Delta Works. 🦈 Shark Pavilion – The touch pool offers plenty to explore, and there’s even a "Swimming with Sharks" program! Sadly, my little one was too scared to join, but we watched a brave dad and his son take the plunge while enjoying the shark feeding session. 💨 Wind Tunnel Test Room – Experience hurricane-force winds up to 130 km/h! 🦭 Seal & Sea Lion Show – The highlight of the day! These chubby, adorable creatures put on a fantastic performance, and the best part was seeing them up close. In summer, the waterpark section opens, making it even more exciting! 🌞🎢 #DeltaWorks #NetherlandsTravel #FamilyFun #EngineeringMarvel #SealsAndSharks
