🇳🇱 Discovering Rotterdam, Netherlands
As someone familiar with its port supremacy (once the world's largest!), seeing Rotterdam in person was surreal. 🏗️ Architectural Wonders ▪️ Cube Houses (Kubuswoningen) Designed by Piet Blom in 1984, these tilted 45° cubes near the port are Rotterdam's iconic landmark. Paid €3 to peek inside—quirky but claustrophobic! Better as a hostel than a home. 😅 ▪️ The Pencil Building ✏️ Just opposite... ▪️ Markthal Market 🍴 Buzzing with food stalls (even Chinese cuisine!). Tried the Dutch fried fish—surprisingly delicious! 👌 🌦️ October Vibes Perfect chill weather—wondering if work-life balance here matches the laid-back atmosphere... ✨ First Impressions ▪️ Orderly & polished (even building alignments feel precision-planned!) ▪️ Stylish cafés & restaurants at every corner ▪️ High civic awareness—everything just works #Rotterdam #NetherlandsTravel #ArchitectureLovers #CubeHouses #Markthal #DutchCulture #CityExplorer
