Just pure travel inspo from our trip~ 🏨 Accommodation Postillion Hotel Amsterdam (4★) – Near 9 Streets, amazing vibe! (~¥900/night, 8-min walk to metro) 🌈 Itinerary Day 1️⃣ ✔️ Zaandam LEGO Town → Zaanse Schans Windmill Village → Red Light District Day 2️⃣ ✔️ Oude Kerk (Old Church) → Bloemenmarkt (Flower Market) → Shopping ⚠️ If open: Swap morning for Keukenhof Gardens, afternoon for Van Gogh Museum (book ahead!) 💡 Extra Day? Add Rotterdam + The Hague (futuristic architecture!). 🍲 Food & Souvenirs 🇳🇱 Dutch Bites: Stroopwafel (caramel waffle!) 🧇 Skipped raw herring… looked sus. 🐟 🛍️ Souvenirs: AH Supermarket: Try Elkemike (blue-white pack), Tony’s Chocolonely 🍫, cheese (recycle plastic for discount!). 🚇 Transport ✅ GVB (Blue Metro): 24-Hour Pass = Worth it if riding >4x (saves $$$!). ✅ NS (Yellow Trains): From: Amsterdam Centraal/Sloterdijk To Zaandam (LEGO Town): Stop at Zaandam → iconic hotel in 30 mins! To Zaanse Schans (Windmills): Stop at Zaandijk Zaanse Schans → walk 15min to Paintmill De Kat 📸 (Don’t miss the giant wooden shoe spot!). 💰 Round-trip: €7.40 (no extra fees for stops—NS app FTW!). ⚠️ Tips: No GVB to Zaandam—only NS trains!
