📚 Morning: University of Amsterdam (UvA) ✨ Visited the Law & Economics faculties—but as a media studies dreamer, the -ranked Communication department stole my heart! 💕 (Main reason I chose the Netherlands!) 🛍️ UvA Merchandise Store 📍 Spui 23, 1012 WX Amsterdam Souvenirs galore: Postcards, books, hoodies, and more! 🍝 Lunch: Dante Kitchen & Bar (Italian) Thank you, UvA, for this treat! 🇮🇹 ✔️ Starter: Charcuterie board + Bruschetta (fresh but simple). 🍕 Pizza Crudo: Arugula + prosciutto on crispy crust—roll it up to eat! 🍕 Vegetariana: Roasted veggies + mozzarella = heaven. 🍰 Tiramisu: Very sweet (typical European dessert alert!). 🌷 Afternoon: Haarlem Day Trip 🚊 From Amsterdam Centraal → Haarlem (15-min train, buy round-trip tickets). 📍 Highlights: St. Bavo Church ⛪️ De Adriaan Windmill 🌬️ Teylers Museum (if time allows!) Canal-side strolls—so much quieter than Amsterdam! 💙 "Haarlem’s streets are compact, its windmill steadfast against the twilight, and its canals a deep blue mirroring brick walls and glowing windows... Time stops here." 🌨️ Evening Return Got caught in a hailstorm—locals don’t flinch, just hood up and march on!
