🇳🇿 Dunedin | The Most Beautiful City in New Zealand

Dunedin, one of New Zealand’s oldest cities, is packed with historic charm and stunning coastal views. After getting our fill of Queenstown and Wanaka’s icy lakes, we fell in love with this place! Here’s our one-day itinerary with the best photo spots: 📍 Baldwin Street 🏆 Guinness World Record for the steepest residential street (35% gradient!). 📸 Get creative—pose with the tilted houses, sit at the top looking down, or just marvel at the madness. 🚖 Some even hire a taxi just to drive up, stay for 3 minutes, listen to the guide, then leave. 😂 🔭 Signal Hill Lookout 🌆 A great city viewpoint, but the trees block part of the view. ⛰️ For even better vistas, try Mount Cargill Lookout (higher & clearer). 🏖️ Saint Clair Beach ☀️ Our favorite spot—golden sunlight, beachfront villas, and a lively, relaxed vibe. ☕ Must-visit: Long Dog Café (ocean-view sunroom + amazing coffee & pastries). 🏊 Next door, there’s a seaside pool—perfect for chilling! 🏕️ Tunnel Beach 🚶 1-hour return hike through dramatic cliffs to a hidden beach. 🕳️ The man-made tunnel adds a cool historical touch—imagine discovering this secret spot! 🌊 Nugget Point 🪨 Short walk to a picturesque lighthouse & rugged sea stacks. 🦭 On the drive, stop at Kaka Point—golden sunset + wildlife (seals, birds, maybe penguins!). 🍟 Bonus: Waihola Fish & Chips (eat by the lake—pure bliss!). 📸 #NewZealand #NZTravel #Dunedin #HiddenGems #TravelDiaries #SouthIslandNZ
