Here's how my perfect sunny day unfolded: 🌟 Route Highlights 🚠 Wellington Cable Car → 🌳 Botanic Garden → 🎨 Academy of Fine Arts Gallery → 🏛️ Wellington Museum → ⛪ St Mary of the Angels → 🌈 Cuba Street → 🖼️ Te Papa Museum → (Optional) 🏖️ Oriental Bay or ⛰️ Mount Victoria Summit *All within 5-15 mins walk of each other!* ☀️ My Sunny Day Adventure 9:00 AM - Started with the cable car (luckily right opposite my hotel!). Soaked in the lush Botanic Garden greenery and snapped pics of the city + harbor views. Even spotted a cute couple with their pup on the ride down—NZ loves dogs! 🐕❤️ 10:30 AM - Hit an art gallery and fell in love with: • "Coffee at Work" (sketches of coffee surface evolution) ☕ • "The Visual World is Inexhaustible" (award-winning mini-sketch collage of life’s tiny moments) ✏️ • And of course… a dog painting! 🐶 12:00 PM - Explored Wellington Museum (Māori history + city stories), then the serene St Mary’s Gothic church (caught a mass in progress!). 1:30 PM - Brunch at Neo Cafe & Eatery on Cuba Street, then a waterfront stroll—felt like a chilled-out Hong Kong! 3:00 PM - Te Papa Museum’s mind-blowing exhibit: a timelapse of a lake’s 25,000-year geological transformation.
