π·π΄ Romania Must-Visit Recommendation: Bucharest Therme SPA π
π Bucharest Therme SPA is just a stone's throw away from the airport, making it perfect for a day trip or a layover stop. It's one of the largest spa centers in Europe, offering an opportunity to experience European senior living. Although it's popular among young people too, the pool dances of the elderly were quite an eye-opener for me. The venue is vast, spread over two levels. The first level features a massive heated pool that connects to the outdoors, as well as a sauna area. You can purchase a Galaxy standard ticket for this level. To access the second level, you'll need to buy a The Palm or Elysium ticket, which includes the first level and offers a larger and more diverse activity space. You can choose to spend 3 hours to a full day here, with different ticket prices for each duration. The place is also beautifully lit up at night, but I had to catch a flight and couldn't stay until the evening. The outdoor bubble baths are incredibly relaxing, making for a stress-free day with a soak and steam! π Activities and Amenities: Galaxy Area: A paradise for families with water slides, Romania's largest wave pool, and water games for kids, along with relaxation areas for adults featuring Turkish baths and whirlpools. The Palm Area: Dedicated to relaxation, surrounded by tropical vegetation with over 500 palms and mineral-rich pools. Elysium: The pinnacle of wellness, featuring themed saunas, a frigidarium, and a panoramic pool with a pool bar. π Location: Θoseaua Pantelimon 33-35, BucureΘti 021592, Romania #Romania #EuropeanTravel #Europe #Spa #RomaniaTravel
