🇷🇸 Serbian Cuisine - The Two Fawns Restaurant 🦌
The Two Fawns (DVA JELENA) is a well-established restaurant specializing in traditional Serbian cuisine, highly renowned among locals, and recommended to me by a friend. It's located in a prime spot on Skadarska, the restaurant street not far from the National Museum. 📍 Address: Skadarska 32, Beograd, Serbia 🍖 About the Food: The main dishes at this restaurant revolve around pork, lamb, and veal. It's suggested to choose BBQ pork steaks or dishes related to veal. They also offer grilled meats, which we didn't try this time, but the taste is likely to be good. 💁♂️ About Service: The table fee is a default of 130 dinars per person. When I called the waiter to settle the bill, it took him five minutes to bring the check, and he persistently asked for a 10% service fee, even though we had already given him a 5% tip. However, he insisted on 10%, and in the end, we did not compromise because we felt he provided no service and even made us wait 15 minutes to settle the bill. 💡 Note: Tips in Serbia are not mandatory, and if you have a very unpleasant dining experience, you can refuse to pay a tip. 🏞 Overall, the three main courses, fruit cake, and two bowls of soup we ordered were quite successful. The dining environment is also very nice, with a decor that is photogenic. Apart from the tip request at the end, it was a pleasant experience overall. #Experience100EuropeanRestaurants #SerbiaTravel #EveryDayHasWorthwhileMoments #MyStudyAbroadStory #HiddenGemRestaurants #CulturalLandscapeSharing #FoodDaily #GoodStuffSharing
