πΈπ¬ Hiking Highlight #4: Southern Ridges πΆββοΈπΆββοΈ
This is one of my personal favorite hiking routes in Singapore! πΈπ¬ The path is quite comfortable, with plenty of shade from trees to keep you from getting too sunburned, and each section offers a variety of scenery, so it never gets too boring. π³π Here's the detailed hiking route (you can walk it in either direction): 1οΈβ£ Kent Ridge MRT Exit B, head towards Kent Ridge Park, follow the signs, and you'll find a small path leading in. 2οΈβ£ Kent Ridge Park, head towards the Canopy Walk, a leisurely wooden suspension bridge. 3οΈβ£ Hort Park, this area has several small parks and many butterflies (π¦). 4οΈβ£ Henderson Wave, via the Forest Walk (currently under maintenance with a detour on the road until July 31, 2026), head to the wave bridge. ππ» Mount Faber Park, also known as Faber Park, is home to the Singapore Cable Car station. After passing through, you can take the downhill boardwalk to VivoCity for a rest and a meal. The entire route takes about 2-3 hours, depending on your pace and the time you take for breaks. β±οΈ It's a great natural oxygen bar and a perfect choice for a weekend getaway to relax and unwind. πΏπ #Singapore #SingaporeTravel #SingaporeLife #SingaporeHiking #SingaporeHikingRoutes #SingaporeWeekends #SouthernRidgesSingapore
