🇹🇭 Affordable & Cozy Thai Food in Anaheim – Luck Gai
Just found this warm little Thai spot in North Anaheim called Luck Gai, located not far from that popular lamb rice place! Their fried dishes are perfectly cooked—crispy yet not oily, and super juicy inside. 🍗 👍🏻 Poached Chicken + Fried Chicken Combo It’s like Hainanese chicken rice meets fried chicken! Served with oily chicken rice, seaweed soup, a small portion of veggies, and four different dipping sauces. The fried chicken is the star—super flavorful. The poached chicken was just a tad dry, but the large portion can easily fill up a hungry guy. 👍🏻 Khao Soi – Curry Coconut Noodle Soup Recommended by the owner—it’s his favorite! And wow, it’s amazing 😍 Rich curry broth with a strong coconut milk flavor, loaded with crispy egg noodles, rice noodles, and tender beef (you can also choose chicken). Mildly spicy but not overwhelming. 👍🏻 Mango Sticky Rice Solid classic—sweet mango and generous portion of sticky rice. 🥭 👍🏻 Egg Roll Light and crispy wrap, filled with kale, carrots, and glass noodles. Leave a good review on Google or Yelp and get a free spring roll or smoothie! 📝 The owner is a super thoughtful and humorous white guy—his wife is Thai, and they run this place together. When he noticed my friend had a cold, he even brought us a pot of ginger tea. ❤️ Even on a weekday around 8-9 PM, the place was quite busy—mostly locals. It’s still a hidden gem on Xiaohongshu! Prices are great—under $30 per person. 🅿️ Plenty of parking too. 📍 3440 E Orangethorpe Ave, Anaheim, CA 92806 #Anaheim #LA #ThaiFood #LAFood #IrvineFood #HiddenGem #FoodReview
