๐น๐ญ Summer Restaurant Week Thai Lunch at Kraam Thai! ๐ถ๏ธ๐ฝ๏ธ
Summer Restaurant Week made its return in late July and ran for three exciting weeks, officially ending on August 17th โ but the good news is, many participating restaurants (like this one!) are extending their special menus through the end of the month and even into September! ๐ ๐ I was drawn in by Kraam Thaiโs tempting menu and visited last week for a flavorful escape. Located in the vibrant Flatiron District, the restaurant offers a beautifully designed space with limited outdoor seating, but step inside and youโre greeted with an almost colonial-chic vibe โ think fresh flowers ๐, lush green plants ๐ชด, classic ceiling fans, and cozy seating that makes you want to stay awhile. Hereโs what I tried: Spicy Lime Shrimp Wontons ๐ฅ๐ฅ โ Packed with a delicious chicken and shrimp filling and drizzled with a zesty lime sauce. So flavorful and satisfying! Wide Rice Noodles with Roasted Duck ๐ฆ๐ โ Silky, savory, and aromatic. The kind of dish you dream about all week! I usually skip drinks, but the non-alcoholic cocktail with lychee, passion fruit, and coconut sounded intriguing ๐นโฆ though the flavor combo didnโt fully win me over. Next time, Iโm trying the Mango Mojito โ it looked (and smelled) amazing, and several tables were ordering it! Service was warm and knowledgeable โ shout-out to Joshua, who spent time in Thailand and really knows his stuff when it comes to authentic Thai flavors! ๐๐ปโค๏ธ Even the restroom downstairs was worth noting โ beautifully decorated, spacious, and clean ๐งผโจ. Kraam Thai is extending its Summer Restaurant Week menu through the end of the month. If youโre looking for a delicious, well-priced Thai meal in a lovely setting โ donโt miss it! Iโll definitely be back. ๐ #KraamThai #SummerRestaurantWeek #ThaiFoodNYC #FlatironEats #DuckNoodles
