πΉπ Summer Restaurant Week Thai Lunch at Kraam Thai! πΆοΈπ½οΈ
Summer Restaurant Week made its return in late July and ran for three exciting weeks, officially ending on August 17th β but the good news is, many participating restaurants (like this one!) are extending their special menus through the end of the month and even into September! π π I was drawn in by Kraam Thaiβs tempting menu and visited last week for a flavorful escape. Located in the vibrant Flatiron District, the restaurant offers a beautifully designed space with limited outdoor seating, but step inside and youβre greeted with an almost colonial-chic vibe β think fresh flowers π, lush green plants πͺ΄, classic ceiling fans, and cozy seating that makes you want to stay awhile. Hereβs what I tried: Spicy Lime Shrimp Wontons π₯π₯ β Packed with a delicious chicken and shrimp filling and drizzled with a zesty lime sauce. So flavorful and satisfying! Wide Rice Noodles with Roasted Duck π¦π β Silky, savory, and aromatic. The kind of dish you dream about all week! I usually skip drinks, but the non-alcoholic cocktail with lychee, passion fruit, and coconut sounded intriguing πΉβ¦ though the flavor combo didnβt fully win me over. Next time, Iβm trying the Mango Mojito β it looked (and smelled) amazing, and several tables were ordering it! Service was warm and knowledgeable β shout-out to Joshua, who spent time in Thailand and really knows his stuff when it comes to authentic Thai flavors! ππ»β€οΈ Even the restroom downstairs was worth noting β beautifully decorated, spacious, and clean π§Όβ¨. Kraam Thai is extending its Summer Restaurant Week menu through the end of the month. If youβre looking for a delicious, well-priced Thai meal in a lovely setting β donβt miss it! Iβll definitely be back. π #KraamThai #SummerRestaurantWeek #ThaiFoodNYC #FlatironEats #DuckNoodles
