🇺🇸[New York] Exploring the Architectural Style

The Starbucks Reserve Roastery is Starbucks' premium brand, with only 6 locations worldwide. Apart from Milan, Shanghai, and Tokyo, the three U.S. locations are in Seattle, Chicago, and New York. The New York Starbucks Reserve Roastery is situated in Manhattan's Chelsea district, right next to the famous Chelsea Market. Spanning an impressive 23,000 square feet, this flagship store opened in December 2018 as the fourth global location. Its modern glass facade, designed in small cubic patterns, resembles a Rubik's Cube, making it truly unique. 🏙️✨ Inside, the most striking feature is the massive copper cask, a signature element of every Roastery. The New York location boasts a 30-foot-tall copper cask that stretches across multiple floors—what you see on the ground level is just a glimpse! 🎭 This Roastery also showcases a more extensive production area, handling larger quantities of coffee beans. According to Starbucks, this facility roasts over 1.5 million pounds (approximately 700,000 kg) of beans annually. ☕🔥 After roasting, the beans travel through the "Coffee Symphony" pipes—exposed overhead tubes that deliver them to various bars or packaging stations. Some beans are packed for retail, while others are shipped to other Starbucks locations. 📦 Additionally, each Roastery incorporates local-inspired designs. For example, the New York location pays homage to Chelsea Market's meatpacking history by using conveyor belts to transport burlap coffee sacks, mimicking a butcherhouse aesthetic. 🏭 Like all Roasteries, the New York store features abundant wooden elements accented with brass metalwork. Although the space spans two main floors, the second level occupies only half the area, allowing the ground floor to maintain a spacious, open feel. Various staircases lead to mezzanines and secluded nooks, creating a harmonious yet dynamic layout. 🪑🛠️ For coffee lovers and architecture enthusiasts alike, this Roastery is a must-visit destination—where craftsmanship meets innovation in the heart of NYC! ❤️🌟 #NewYork#StarbucksReserve #CoffeeLover #NYCArchitecture #ChelseaMarket #SpecialtyCoffee #TravelNYC #ThirdWaveCoffee #MustVisitNYC #RoasteryExperience #ManhattanSpots
