🇺🇸 2025 Philadelphia Rice Noodle Rankings! 🍜

The last ranking was released at the end of 2023, and since then, Philadelphia has welcomed several new spots. I’ve also revisited many of the classic favorites. Here’s my brand-new 2025 ranking! Short & Sweet Version: Of the newer finds, check out You Yuan Rice Noodle and the red oil rice noodles at Pin Wei Chang An — they’re the best I’ve tried this year! Also, Ji Bei Chuan’s mixed rice noodles stood out so much that I’ve gone back multiple times 😉 Detailed Breakdown: 🏆 Pin Wei Chang An Known for their handmade noodles, but surprisingly, their rice noodles are even better! Shoutout to a friend for the recommendation — the noodles have the perfect firmness (just my preference!). Red Oil Rice Noodles: Not too spicy, loaded with crunchy wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, daylily flowers, and more. A texture lover’s dream! Lamb Rice Noodles: A rich lamb broth with deeper flavor, though fewer toppings. Both are must-tries! 🔥 You Yuan Rice Noodle Don’t judge by the name! Their numbing-spicy rice noodles (you can swap for dried noodles) are the most intensely numbing and satisfying in Philly. Add dried spice powder and some braised pork intestines — you’ll sweat, cry, and feel completely reborn 😅 Also try their off-menu Fujian-style taro noodles with (muscovy duck) — slow-cooked, non-MSG broth with a hint of Fujian rice wine. Truly one-of-a-kind in Philly! 🍜 R&G’s Ping Pong I’ve mentioned their pickled mustard greens & shredded pork rice noodles many times — super authentic! The pork is the most tender in the city. Sometimes I go just for the pork 😂 The noodles are Jiangxi-style, though occasionally a bit soft. 🌟 Ji Bei Chuan I’ve basically switched from Shi Miao Dao to this spot. Their mixed rice noodles are my go-to — especially the beef offal mixed noodles. Pro tip: their stir-fried udon is incredibly wok-heavy and delicious too! 💫 Bai Wei Xuan Their braised sauce mixed noodles are still consistently good — even when delivered, the flavor holds up well. That said, I personally prefer soup noodles, so they land a bit lower on my list 😉 🗽 Hunan Slurp Noodles 3636 Prince St , Flushing, NY 11354 Okay, this one’s in Flushing, not Philly… but since we’re talking Hunan noodles, I had to include it! Their sour string bean & chicken gizzard soup noodles are solid. It’s a casual, no-frills spot — you can even get free noodle refills! Not worth a special trip, but great if you’re in the area. That’s the updated 2025 ranking! Let me know if you have any recommendations — I’m always looking for new places to try! 👇 #PhillyFoodGuide #GlobalFoodieAwards #PhillyEats #RiceNoodles #YunnanNoodles #HunanNoodles #NoodleLover #SlurpLife
