🇺🇸 Arizona | Stories of a Small City – Goodbye, Tucson ✨

Sharing some casual photos from the past As a final tribute to this city I might not return again These pictures hold a part of my life here This quiet little town Accompanied me through an important chapter The pouring rain felt like sailing on the sea 🌧️ Wetting the path back home from class Yet also cooling the city down The sudden snow in February 2023 ❄️ I’ll never forget the excitement that night Everyone went a little crazy Even with just a light dusting The next day, leftover ice still lingered on campus The lightning during monsoon season ⚡ Lighting up the entire sky in an instant Often followed by hailstones tapping on car windows The weather here changes in a blink Just like sudden emotions The calm after the storm is what stays with you Unbelievably gorgeous sunsets 🌇 Tucson’s dusks are unreal The most healing moment of the day Watching the sky slowly painted with color Maybe it’s because the city is so quiet That the sunset feels so profoundly present Cacti of all shapes and sizes 🌵 So many that they become part of daily life Different forms, heights, and species They’ve witnessed the life of this city Standing quietly along roads, hills, and campus corners Watching every sunset and storm Accompanying us through ordinary days They don’t speak, yet they understand Tucson’s rhythm and silence better than anyone The boldly colored flowers of Tucson 🌸 It’s as if the drier the climate, the brighter they bloom Making you look twice when passing by The University of Arizona 🏫 Where I spent four years learning The library is where my story began And where I started over countless times💕 I’ll always remember the little stress-relief surprises before midterms Those bright red swings standing out vividly against the dry land I loved swinging on them after class, clearing my mind Mount Lemmon ⛰️ A summer escape from the heat A short hike rewards you with a view over all of Tucson Everyone who’s lived here has watched a sunset or sunrise from here In winter, you can even play in the snow Experiencing a different kind of joy in this dry desert😍 Life in Tucson moves slowly So slow that sunsets leisurely dye the entire sky👍 Days feel stretched here Teaching you how to live unhurried The low, earth-toned walls give the city its unique texture And remain my deepest memory of Tucson #Arizona #Tucson #LifeInTucson
