Tucson: Memories That Linger On

1. Around this time last year, I visited Tucson. Its winter was rather cozy, free from the biting cold. Whether you have a day or two, it's nice for a quick exploration. πŸ˜Žβ˜€οΈπŸœοΈ There are plenty of places to check out, making it an enjoyable destination for a short trip. πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘€πŸŒ† 2. 🎈Saguaro NP It's a well-known landmark. The city partitions the park into two sections. I went to both, but I favored the western part more. Unfortunately, the light pollution is too heavy for stargazing purposes. πŸ˜ŠπŸŒ΅πŸŒƒ Still, the park's cacti are so impressive that they add a unique touch to the scenery. Despite the stargazing limitation, its daytime charm is worth experiencing. πŸ˜ƒπŸœοΈπŸŒŸ 3. 🎈San Xavier del Bac Mission Since I'm not religious, I just spent a little time looking at it from the outside instead of going in. 😎β›ͺπŸ‘€ However, its exterior architecture is really appealing, with its distinct style that reveals its historical and cultural depth. πŸ˜ŠπŸ›οΈ 4. 🎈Titan missile museum It's quite captivating. Once you buy tickets and enter, there's a tour available. You can learn about past missile crises and get a good look at the actual missiles. πŸ˜ƒπŸš€πŸ“š This offers a great opportunity to understand a significant part of history and see those powerful weapons closely, which makes the visit quite informative. πŸ˜ŽπŸ’‘πŸ–ΌοΈ 5. 🎈Pima air&space museum It usually takes about half a day to fully tour the museum. If you love planes, you definitely shouldn't miss it. There's even an aircraft from China Southern Airlines there. πŸ˜ŠβœˆοΈπŸ•™ The diverse range of aircraft on display showcases different eras and types in aviation history, making it a dream place for plane fans. πŸ˜ƒπŸšπŸŽŠ 6. 🎈Airplane boneyard Now it's closed to the public. It seemed that previously there were tours allowing entry. You can park by the roadside near the north fence and enjoy the view from there. πŸ˜ŽπŸ›«πŸ–ΌοΈ Even just seeing the many retired planes from afar gives you a sense of the vastness of aviation history. πŸ˜ŠπŸš—πŸŒ„ 7. There were other attractions like Biosphere 2 and botanical gardens too, but I wasn't drawn to them, so I didn't go. πŸ˜ƒπŸŒ³πŸžοΈ Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to travel spots, and I focused on what interested me the most. πŸ˜ŽπŸ—ΊοΈπŸŒŸ #Tucson #Arizona #TravelTales
