🇺🇸 Arizona 2-Day Trip Recommendations

I went to Phoenix for a business trip and extended my stay to explore over the weekend. With a 7-hour layover in San Francisco and some spare time, I managed to visit a few spots! 1️⃣ San Francisco Layover (7 Hours) Rushed but worth it! Visited the Inception filming location 🎥 and a Ross store. Skipped the cable car — lines were too long 🚋. Took BART from the airport: bought a card and loaded money (expensive! Round trip to Powell Street cost $27 💸). ⚠️ San Francisco is FREEZING and super windy 🥶 — bring a jacket! 2️⃣ Phoenix Day 1: Sedona Day Trip Friends highly recommended Sedona — followed Xiaohongshu to Chapel of the Holy Cross ⛰️⛪. A beautiful church on a hill with stunning views! Gift shop downstairs for souvenirs 🎁. Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village 🛍️: Very girly and photogenic 📸. Bought an expensive but pretty necklace 💎 (I don’t usually take photos or edit them 😅). 3️⃣ Most Memorable Spot: Subway Cave Hiked 5 km to a cave 🥾 — no developed trails, just markers and ropes left by climbers 🧗♂️. Views were breathtaking! But descending was tricky — easy to twist an ankle 😬. Unforgettable moment: I walked straight into a low-hanging branch and got a huge bump on my head 🌳💥. 4️⃣ Devil’s Bridge Attempt After 10 km round trip to Subway Cave, I saw Devil’s Bridge required another 10 km hike — I turned around immediately 😅. Heard the views are epic, but it’s entirely undeveloped — pure leg power! 5️⃣ Phoenix Day 2: Outlets & Cacti Visited the outlets for shopping 🛒. Phoenix is covered in adorable cacti 🌵 — everywhere! 6️⃣ Papago Park Sunset On the last night, clients took us to Papago Park 🌄. Perfect timing — sunset right as we arrived!
