🇺🇸 Austin | One-Day Trip Guide
Departing from San Antonio to Austin — just 1h 20min drive! 🚗💨 🏛️ First Stop: Texas State Capitol Built in 1885 and designed by architect Elijah E. Myers, the Texas Capitol was inspired by the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. 🏛️ It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and became a National Historic Landmark in 1986. The Capitol’s Goddess of Liberty statue stands 14 feet tall—7 feet taller than the one in D.C.! Free tours are offered every 30 minutes. Even if English isn’t your strong suit, no worries—after security check, you can get a printed guide in Chinese! 📜 The main building has four floors, with two three-story wings extending east and west—one for the Senate, the other for the House. 🛍️ Second Stop: The Domain A stylish open-air shopping village with a relaxed atmosphere and free parking! 🚗🎁 Not too crowded, with a good range of brands, including a Macy’s department store. Fun fact: SKIMS by Kim Kardashian has its third physical store right here! 👙✨ 🧋 Third Stop: CHICHA San Chen A must-try bubble tea spot known for crazy long lines—waiting up to 3 hours is not uncommon! 😮 We tried two drinks: Pine Needle Green Tea + Royal Milk Foam + King Boba 👑 The green tea is light and fresh, perfectly balanced with creamy milk foam. The boba was soft and chewy—so good! Osmanthus Oolong + Mango Jam 🌼🥭 Refreshing and aromatic with a subtle osmanthus fragrance—great for quenching thirst! All their drinks are crafted with less sugar, perfectly suited for the Asian palate. 👍 🌅 Fourth Stop: The Oasis — Breathtaking Sunset Views A iconic must-visit spot in Austin! Though it’s about 30 minutes from downtown, the drive is totally worth it. We arrived just in time for the 5:40 PM sunset. The view was even more stunning than I imagined—absolutely magical and truly well-deserved as Austin’s premier sunset destination! 🌄❤️ #TravelUSA #USRoadTrip #Austin #TexasTravel
