๐บ๐ธ Desert Rose Hotel Near Monument Valley ๐๏ธ๐น
We decided on a spontaneous trip to Monument Valley, but all the hotels inside the park were fully booked. So, we managed to reserve a room at the โโDesert Rose Hotelโโ on the Utah side, close to the park. At $300 per night, the name alone hints at its great facilities! ๐จ๐ซ Itโs just a 20-minute drive from the famous Forrest Gump running point ๐โโ๏ธ๐ธ, and not far from Monument Valley itself. Plus, itโs much closer to Salt Lake City compared to staying inside the park. The hotel has its own Duke Restaurant, popular among many French tourists. The steak with foie gras was the standout dishโthe steak was excellently prepared with a hint of fruity wood aroma ๐, even better than some French restaurants in Manhattan! ๐ฅฉ๐ท The town has only about 200 people. The other three restaurants are locally owned hole-in-the-wall spots, and honestly, the food wasnโt great. ๐ฅด But by day we explored, and by morning/evening we enjoyed the SPA and swimming pool ๐โโ๏ธ๐.
