🇺🇸 Eating in the US – Philadelphia Edition
【Buk Chon Korean】 – ~$30 per person 🇰🇷 A solid Korean spot! Recommended: bibimbap in stone pot and kimchi tofu soup—delicious! The pancake-style dumpling (made with potato and batter) was just okay. 【Thanal Indian Tavern】 – ~$30 per person 🇮🇳 Rarely eat Indian food, but this place made me fall in love with it! Ordered BASIL RASAM, a tangy and spicy vegetarian soup—super appetizing! Also tried grilled shrimp (large and fresh) with sweet cabbage—so good 🥹, and classic chicken curry with garlic naan. Highly recommend if you want to try Indian cuisine! 👍 【Meet Harbin 】 – ~$20 per person 🥢 My first Chinese meal in the US! Easy to find on the main street. We ordered di san xian (stir-fried potatoes, eggplant & peppers) and twice-cooked pork—huge portions and tasty. Great for groups or when you’re craving Chinese food! 【Reading Terminal Market】 A food hall right downtown—super convenient and lively with tons of stalls! Tried the popular Hershel’s East Side Deli from Xiaohongshu—got the corned beef wrap ($18), huge and stuffed with tender, juicy meat. One is enough for two people 😂. BEILER’S DONUTS are a must 🍩—fresh daily with lots of flavors. Already craving them again 🥹. If you don’t know what to eat, just head here! There’s public seating, and some stalls have their own (tipping expected 💵). Market hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, but each vendor sets their own hours (some close as early as 3:00 PM), so check ahead! #Food #ChineseFoodCravings #GlobalEats #FoodSavesTheWorld #USATravel #USALife
