📍 Mawn 764 S 9th St, Philadelphia, PA 19147 📌 Heads up: Breakfast/Lunch: Walk-in only Dinner: Reservations required We arrived at 10:50 AM (they open at 11), and there was already a long line! The space is pretty small, so go early to snag a spot 🏃💨 🍽️ Day vs. Night Menu: They have separate menus, but you can sometimes request dinner items during the day — just ask your server! We managed to order the All-Star Seafood Fried Rice 🍤🔥 (not on the lunch menu). Scallops, shrimp, and fish roe — so fragrant and wok-kissed! Pure happiness in a bowl 😭❤️ 🥗 Papaya Salad Refreshing and tangy — a perfect appetizer! 🥬 Prohok Dip Warm, saucy pork wrapped in cool, crisp lettuce — an explosive burst of flavor! We finished it in seconds 🥹 🍜 Night Market Noodles Thought it’d be hot stir-fried noodles, but it’s actually a cold noodle dish with a mild sweet taste. Not my favorite — but maybe you’ll like it! 🍌 Desserts Banana Rice Pudding: The cream on top was delicious, but the pudding itself was a bit too sweet for me 🍯 Funnel Cake: Pretty standard — we were too full to fully appreciate it by then 😅 🍩 Bonus Stop: Right across the street is Pop’s Bun Shop — another popular spot with lines! By the time we got there, only cinnamon rolls and pecan sticky buns were left. Heated in the microwave for 30 seconds?
