πΊπΈ Finally Tried Philly's Hottest Spot β Mawn! β¨
π Mawn 764 S 9th St, Philadelphia, PA 19147 π Heads up: Breakfast/Lunch: Walk-in only Dinner: Reservations required We arrived at 10:50 AM (they open at 11), and there was already a long line! The space is pretty small, so go early to snag a spot ππ¨ π½οΈ Day vs. Night Menu: They have separate menus, but you can sometimes request dinner items during the day β just ask your server! We managed to order the All-Star Seafood Fried Rice π€π₯ (not on the lunch menu). Scallops, shrimp, and fish roe β so fragrant and wok-kissed! Pure happiness in a bowl πβ€οΈ π₯ Papaya Salad Refreshing and tangy β a perfect appetizer! π₯¬ Prohok Dip Warm, saucy pork wrapped in cool, crisp lettuce β an explosive burst of flavor! We finished it in seconds π₯Ή π Night Market Noodles Thought itβd be hot stir-fried noodles, but itβs actually a cold noodle dish with a mild sweet taste. Not my favorite β but maybe youβll like it! π Desserts Banana Rice Pudding: The cream on top was delicious, but the pudding itself was a bit too sweet for me π― Funnel Cake: Pretty standard β we were too full to fully appreciate it by then π π© Bonus Stop: Right across the street is Popβs Bun Shop β another popular spot with lines! By the time we got there, only cinnamon rolls and pecan sticky buns were left. Heated in the microwave for 30 seconds? HEAVEN. π€€ #PhillyEats #PhillyFood #PhillyLife #StudyAbroadEats #PhillyArea #PhillyExploration #PhillyGuide #FoodieDiaries #Philly #Philadelphia
