This weekend we took a fun little trip to Sacramento! ๐จ Stay: We chose Embassy Suites by Hilton Sacramento โ right by the river, walking distance to Old Town, great views ๐. Not only did they offer free breakfast ๐ฅ, but they also had a complimentary evening reception with cocktails ๐น, wine ๐ท, beer ๐บ, and snacks! Totally worth it. ๐ Eat: Visited the super retro Fanny Annโs Saloon (recommended by ChatGPT, surprisingly!). Their burgers were huge and tasty ๐, but the real star was the Jiffy Dog ๐ญ โ topped with peanut butter, bacon, and sausage. So unique! The kids loved all the vintage decor everywhere. ๐ Play: Highlight was the California State Railroad Museum ๐ โ fun for both boys and girls! Giant steam trains, interactive exhibits, and you can even step inside historic train cars.
